Welcome to the CB Creative Art Center, the premiere location in Colonial Beach to create, purchase or simply admire artworks by an impressive variety of talented local artists.

Chat with our resident Studio Artists, always happy to discuss their inspiration, process and mediums. Admire our Exhibiting Artists' collections, available for purchase. Peruse our Gift Shop for locally made one-of-a-kind artworks, crafts, or books written and illustrated by locals. Register yourself, your children, or your group for a workshop led by one of our local artists and bring your own creativity to life.
CB Creative Art Center is also the home of the “Colonial Beach Artists Guild Gallery,” a space dedicated to presenting a different featured artist or intriguing themed show every month.

The Colonial Beach Artists’ Guild presents
Kathleen Moran
As featured artist for February 2026, Kathleen Moran chose to use this opportunity as motivation to get busy in the Studio, with the result that this show includes at least a dozen new pieces that celebrate some of her favorite things about her home state of Virginia. She is particularly appreciative of the variety of landscape to be found in Virginia, from coastal plain to mountains, which she enjoys visiting and attempting to render representationally, primarily working in oil or acrylic.
The Art Center is open daily, and all work is for sale. There will be a reception for Ms. Moran at the Art Center Friday Feb 13 from 6-8
